We work towards leading a responsible business in a challenging industry. We are strongly committed to the fact that responsibility is more about what we do than what we say, and therefore, we also commit to having clear and detailed policies and documentation for our efforts. There are multiple arenas in which we can engage, from our design philosophy, chosen materials, and certifications to our supplier cooperation, and environmental policies. However, our focus on quality does not start nor end with our products, but also pertains to how we work with social and environmental responsibility - in our operations in Ikast, Denmark, as well as in our supply chain.

Our CSR goals

    Supplier Accountability


    Ensure that the number of suppliers with a completed social audit must be min. 90% of buying volume equal to BV. Of these, min. 85% must have achieved the result "A" or "B" or "C" according to the Amfori - BSCI 2.0 system one or equivalent. The remaining 10% must be involved in the audit process by at least having signed the Code of Conduct and filling out a Self-Assessment Tool. We will strive to document the factories' status with visual material.

    Chemical Safety


    Ensure that 95% of Claire's suppliers (BV) have signed Claire's chemical programme and that at least 15 chemical tests are carried out annually on grades from main suppliers in accordance with our test plan,
    which is based on a risk assessment.

    Employee Development


    Offer relevant further education to all in-house professionals with the overall goal of supporting the company's development, including ensuring that we meet our targets. Our aims:
a. A min. of 15% of all employees to receive first aid training using a defibrillator.
b. A min. of 15% to be trained in basic firefighting. c. An equal proportion of men and women in managerial positions or engaged in confidential work.

    Community Support


    Donate a total of DKK 200,000 to sponsorships, charities and cultural and/or sporting events.

    Certifications


    We're increasing the proportion of certified goods to 55% of our total BV, ensuring that more of our products meet the highest ethical and environmental standards.

    Stakeholder Communication


    We prioritize transparent communication. We'll share our company's status through videos or other means at least twice a year with selected stakeholders, building on the strong relationships forged during COVID-19.

    Charitable Donations


    We're committed to making a positive impact. We will donate samples and seconds to charities at least twice a year, providing support to those in need.
