Our world

We work towards leading a responsible business in a challenging industry. We are strongly committed to the fact that responsibility is more about what we do than what we say, and therefore, we also commit to having clear and detailed policies and documentation for our efforts. There are multiple arenas in which we can engage, from our design philosophy, chosen materials, and certifications to our supplier cooperation, and environmental policies. On the following pages you can read more about what responsible business conduct means to us and how we engage.
our mission is, first and foremost, to create beautiful and comfortable quality clothes. However, our focus on quality does not start nor end with our products, but also pertains to how we work with social and environmental responsibility - in our operations in Ikast, Denmark, as well as in our supply chain.

Our philosophy

At Hust & Claire, we are passionate about equality. We believe that every individual, from our dedicated seamstresses in workshops worldwide to our staff at the Denmark headquarters, deserves to be treated with respect and fairness. To ensure this, we meticulously select production sites that provide optimal working conditions, including reasonable working hours and comfortable canteen facilities. At Hust & Claire, we prioritize the well-being of our employees and strive to exceed national labor law standards by offering higher wages. We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone is valued equally and treated with the dignity they deserve.

Animal welfare

At Hust & Claire, we take our responsibility towards the welfare of animals very seriously. Our dedication to this cause is deeply ingrained in every aspect of our brand, from the materials we choose to the suppliers we work with.

We believe that ethical sourcing is the cornerstone of our commitment to animal welfare. That's why we go above and beyond to collaborate only with suppliers who share our values. We're proud to state that we never use real fur or exotic skins in any of our collections. Instead, we prioritise using leather and skins from animals raised specifically for meat production.

The decision to forgo real fur and exotic skins is a conscious one, motivated by our unwavering dedication to protect animals and their habitats. By abstaining from these materials, we actively contribute to the global movement against the cruel practices associated with fur and exotic skin production.
