Our world

We work towards leading a responsible business in a challenging industry. We are strongly committed to the fact that responsibility is more about what we do than what we say, and therefore, we also commit to having clear and detailed policies and documentation for our efforts. There are multiple arenas in which we can engage, from our design philosophy, chosen materials, and certifications to our supplier cooperation, and environmental policies. On the following pages you can read more about what responsible business conduct means to us and how we engage.
our mission is, first and foremost, to create beautiful and comfortable quality clothes. However, our focus on quality does not start nor end with our products, but also pertains to how we work with social and environmental responsibility - in our operations in Ikast, Denmark, as well as in our supply chain.

Our supplier cooperation

We place a high value on building strong, enduring relationships with our suppliers. We consider our skilled suppliers the backbone of our business. Every supplier is chosen with great care, and we exclusively collaborate with those who prioritise fair working conditions for their employees and demonstrate a commitment to environmental responsibility.

Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct is rooted in the principles of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions and the United Nations Human Rights Convention. It outlines the minimum standards we expect from our suppliers and is an integral part of our contractual agreements with them.

Amfori-BSCI Membership

Since 2008, Hust & Claire has proudly been a member of the Amfori-BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative). This membership aligns with our commitment to responsible supply chain management. The Amfori-BSCI framework helps us monitor compliance with our Code of Conduct at factories producing our clothing. We collaborate solely with suppliers willing to meet the Amfori-BSCI requirements and undergo regular audits. Moreover, we encourage our suppliers to extend similar expectations to their own suppliers. Ensuring transparency, our quality control staff routinely visits production factories.
