The Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS
In spring 2019, we obtained an environmental certification that focuses on organic clothing and our handling of resources, waste, and packaging. We are proud to offer our customers GOTS-labeled styles. GOTS is an internationally recognized certification for textiles made from organic cotton. However, it's not only the raw cotton fibers that are organic. All other processes such as dyeing, pre- and post-treatment, sewing, packaging, and labeling must also meet specific environmental requirements for the end product to be labeled as a GOTS product. Additionally, there must be proper working conditions for the employees in production.
Claire Group A/S has been GOTS certified since 2019 because it is our strategy to create clothing on a sustainable basis and take responsibility for the environment and the people who produce our clothing.
